Alphatainment CES

Entertainment systems on board are designed to provide crew and/or passengers of i.e. drilling platforms with a sense of welfare. Accommodation platforms which are let by Atlantic Marine Services are used as hotel by crew members for service and repairs. When off-duty, secondary terms of employment like Alphatainment entertainment system are a must. Several of Atlantic Marine Services accommodation platforms are equipped with the Alphatron Alphatainment system. For Atlantic Marine Services, the flawless operation of such a system is both a must as well as an asset when it comes to promoting their platforms. E.g. the Atlantic Labrador and the Atlantic Amsterdam, both can accommodate 136 persons in single men cabins and the Atlantic London, capacity 318 persons in 2-men cabins. Alphatron developed several varieties of the Cabin Entertainment System, however, all are based on IPTV, thus enabling TV and movie channels in every cabin.

VSAT

For those managing larger fleets, the t80W can be networked with any onboard, Intellian-built satellite communications system (VSAT or FleetBroadband) to allow remote access and management via Aptus Web no matter where the vessel is located around the globe. With its Wi-Fi capable ACU, users can connect wirelessly to the t80W using Aptus PC or Aptus Mobile, an iOS Mobile Application available for free download through the App Store. Aptus offers users instant diagnostics, performance logging functions, and one touch updates to the antenna’s firmware and the Global Satellite Library, ensuring the antenna delivers peak performance at all times. It’s not easy finding a satellite that’s 22,000 miles away, but thanks to Intellian’s Wide Range Search technology, our antennas search over a wider range and lock onto a signal in seconds – four to five times faster than conventional antennas. Our patented Dynamic Beam Tilting (DBT) technology uses intelligent, real time beam analysis to maintain the strongest signal even when the vessel is cruising at high speeds or in rough weather.

AlphaConnect Classic

The purpose of the AlphaConnect Classic maritime communication system is to give the seafarers easy and reliable onboard communication between all essential places onboard a ship, as well as allowing the possibility of making telephone calls to and from the ship. Calls from the ship to shore can be conducted from all places on board. Calls from shore to ship can be distributed to any location onboard, typically to bridge, captain’s cabin or ship’s office, but with our system you do not have to be on the bridge to answer your (satellite) call. The AlphaConnect Classic is ideal for refit purposes. The two wire analog system will fit on any existing cable network. With no less than 24 internal lines standard (and even up to 144 extensions possible). Naturally we have included two trunk lines as standard (though extendable). The AlphaConnect Classic consists of a mechanical robust cabinet designed for the industrial environment found on board of ships with respect to physical as well as electrical environment. The system has a type approval certificate by DNV-GL and complies with the IEC60945 standard for maritime electronic communication equipment, which will ensure years of problem free-operation. The AlphaConnect Classic adapts plain analog worldwide standardized telephones.
