NLS3000

NLS 3000 is an easy to use navigation lantern control and monitoring system, with up to 48 channels which is type approved by German Lloyd (GL). It can alternatively be operated with power supplies 24VDC, 115VAC or 230VAC. Function keys allow standard settings such as "at sea" , "at anchor" , "ram" or "reversal of heading" to be activated by a single button or even automatically by an external contact. Due to the modular concept a versatile application according to the requirements on board is possible. The lantern modules can be mounted either in a central control cabinet or in the vicinity of the respective lanterns. Up to two conventional and/or graphical control panels can be connected to control and monitor the lantern status. A terminal box then contains the in- and output terminals as well as the power supply module with automatic main/emergency switch-over. The dimensions of the terminal box are according to the equipment. Equipped with two potential free alarm contacts the connection of external sirens or the activation of external alarm systems are possible. As optional modules are available NMEA 0183 interface to VDR and a Modbus-RTU interface used for external control and monitoring e.g. by the ship's automation system.

AlphaPilot MFM

Our new adaptive autopilot which features a 5-inch touch display with the hardware and software based on our uniform product philosophy, creating a consistent bridge and operational approach. The advanced track steering technology contributes to safe and efficient operation, defined by its simplicity in usage. The idea behind our new AlphaPilot was to design a modular system with standard components that also makes it easy to service. Due to our experience and feedback of our customers and engineers, our main goal was to design an autopilot that is easy to install, commission and to maintain. The new AlphaPilot had to be deployable as a small system as heading control system up to an advanced and complex autopilot system with multiple positions and to control main steering. The AlphaPilot is a modular, type approved heading control system designed to fit vessels of any size, including high speed crafts. This modern and technologically advanced control unit is intended to reduce the operator’s workload, increase the vessel motion efficiency and improve operational safety. The AlphaPilot is easy to install and has a fully self-adjusting ‘auto-tune’ algorithm which automatically estimates ships’ dynamics and allows it to easily adapt control settings, rudder gain and counter rudder as required to continually provide the best possible steering performance. The tillers are required for steering and switches for selecting steering modes. As an additional safety feature, the tiller in command will lit. All tillers and switches have dimmer and mute buttons. The modules have an aluminum base fitted with a dedicated PCB and a splash-proof film coating on the front. The modules are connected via CAN bus for communicating with the main control unit.

AlphaSSRS

The AlphaSSRS is a complete Sound Signal Reception System (SSRS) consisting of a display and antenna, designed to receive and detect foghorn sounds from other vessels and is for use onboard one-man operated enclosed bridge class ships. The display features an adjustable volume and dimmer and is highly suitable for fore and aft bridge mounting. The sound reception system enables the watch officer to receive warning signals of nearby vessels within a 70 to 2100 Hz frequency from all directions and suppresses unwanted background noise allowing reception of only relevant sounds. A secured web interface is used for logging and configuring the system. It also provides the system status, making it is easy to get access to settings, parameters and errors of the sound signal reception system which can save time during trouble shooting. At the same time, the website interface allows you to easily maintain the system for firmware updates, reset or factory restore functions.

AlphaMiniCourse

The AlphaMiniCourse is highly reliable, has an enhanced follow-up performance and several interfacing features to connect to external equipment. The Gyro compass AlphaMiniCourse complies with requirements of IMO A.424(XI), ISO 8728 and AlphaMiniCourse HS complies to A.821 (19), ISO 16328 HSC. Both versions are Marine Equipment Directive 96/98/ЕС or Wheelmark approved. A gyrocompass is a type of non-magnetic compass which is based on a fast-spinning disc and rotation of the Earth to automatically find geographical direction, true north. The AlphaMiniCourse exploits this property and uses earth gravitational attraction and rotation to align the gyroscope spin axis with the meridian, i.e. in the true north direction. The AlphaMiniCourse is designed to meet the needs of the marine market Highly accurate performance derived from the aerospace industry, combined with a ruggedized construction in order to cope with the most severe circumstances at sea. On vessels, a gyrocompass is vital during operation, therefore Alphatron Marine provides a 24/7 worldwide service of technical support from well-experienced and knowledgeable technicians.
