JAX-9B

The JAX-9B weather facsimile receiver is a very compact and lightweight solution, incorporating a set of enhanced features that allows for flexible operation. The received fax broadcasts are recorded on thermal recording paper in a solid-state recording environment, using a thermal head. JRC integrated an automatic frequency selection, allowing for optimized receiving. The JAX-9B can receive in four different modes. All operations can be remotely controlled to automatically start up, set parameters, receiving images, feed paper, and stop by remote signals from the broadcasting stations. Only halftone recording is manually controlled. You can manually set the index of co-operation (IOC), scanning speed, and the halftone recording. The JAX-9B automatically records the stops in this mode. This is an extensive function of the automatic recording mode. The JAX-9B can manually record while neither in automatic or manual recording mode, also while broadcasting is in progress. Phasing is done manually. It also adapts to a unique system to terminate phase matching instantaneously.

AlphaBinnacle H

The AlphaBinnacle H type is for commercial vessel over 150 GT, fishing vessels and workboats over 35 meter and naval vessels. Professional binnacle case for deck mount applications for use with magnetic compass. Suitable for use with Alphatron Marine and other Transmitting Magnetic compass (TMC) equipment to operate repeaters, off-course alarms and outputs to navigation equipment including gyro back up. The AlphaBinnacle with magnetic compass is Type approved according to the European Marine Equipment Directive (MED), Chinese Classification Society and other Maritime Authorities. The AlphaBinnacle can be used with a simple periscope assembly which is easy to install or removed. Due to the improved water tightness around deck/ periscope area, it reduce installation work for a shipyard. It can also be used as a standalone compass or even with an electronic device (TMC) in combination with repeaters like the AlphaLine MF Compass Repeater. The AlphaBinnacle is a lightweight GRP product which guards the Class A compass. The GRP will not influence the magnetic field of the compass. The AlphaBinnacle will be delivered with the necessary deviation correctors (including; B, C, D and H). The AlphaBinnacle with magnetic compass is Type approved according to the European Marine Equipment Directive (MED), Chinese Classification Society and other Maritime Authorities.

OMC-116 Ultrasonic

Marine meteorological observations require devices designed to withstand the hardest environmental conditions, such as heavy vibrations, sea spray, extreme colds, chemical particles etc. With a major track record the marine and offshore markets are the home markets for Observator’s meteorological product line. The OMC-116 is an ultrasonic wind sensor, based on the time of flight theory. The unit is provided with industrial standard NMEA0183 output and can optionally be provided with 4.20 mA signals. The robust design of stainless steel of marine grade aluminium, as well the standard available heating, makes this unit ideal for the hardest environments. The standard bracket with integrated junction box makes this unit easy to install.

JLN-650

The new JLN-650 Doppler current meter continues the tradition of enhanced acquisition of speed and tidal current data, but now with a newly designed transducer and the integration of an extensive range of function and features. You can view the current direction and speed in up to 100 layers with the twist mode. With this advanced feature, an operator is able to anticipate current speed and direction, enhancing the timing on when to deploy the nets in the water. Naturally, the twist display mode is accompanied with a wide range of information, such as current speed range, depth range, temperature and so on. You can view fish echoes in four-directions, two-directions ahead, or in any one direction, allowing for easy fish tracking. Just as any typical fish finder, you can set the display to the type of fish or sea conditions simply by adjusting the sensitivity.

JLN-652

The new JLN-652BB Doppler current meter integrates a compelling combination of function and features, packed into a compact space-saving design, enabling quick and accurate acquisition of speed and tidal current data. JRC engineers listened closely to feedback given by captains and realized yet another unique function in this class of current meters. The JLN-652BB is able to accurately measure up and down current, particularly useful to predict the sinking ratio of your nets by following the natural motion of the underwater current. The JLN-652BB Doppler current meter has the ability to process and display continuous tidal currents of 50 independent measuring layers down to maximum 200 meter depending on sea condition. To simplify matters, the user only has to set five depths layers (A, B, C, D, E), of which each layer is measured in four directions. The 50 layers are automatically set relative to depth which has been indicated.

JCX-161

The Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) main purpose is to monitor the presence of watch officers and their alertness for early detection of unsafe sailing conditions. The JCX-161 incorporates many display modes readily available on a highly visible 4.5-inch LCD display. Besides the display being fully dimmable and having backlit keys, it features dual LED backlight (white and orange), making it easy to operate in various light settings on the bridge. Also available on the unit is the emergency call function which triggers all devices (buzzers) to activate. In addition, officer call also available which provides audible notice for backup officer at 2nd stage alarm. The unit has automatic and manual operation modes. While the ship’s heading TCS or HCS is active, the set period countdown operates automatically. In case you turned on the system to operate manually countdown operates continuously. When ship is in anchorage the unit can be turned off, however emergency calls, other call functions and bridge alarm transfer are still operable.

VL-BNWAS

The VL-BNWAS was developed to detect the awareness of the officer of watch (OOW) to avoid accidents. In case the OOW is incapable, the system automatically generates several alarm stages. Due to its modular design it will be possible to suit on each dimension of vessel. The Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm System also have the capability to generates alarms at un-acknowledges alarms from nautical equipment.

HBN-117

The purpose of a bridge navigational watch alarm system is to monitor bridge activity and detect operator disability which could lead to marine accidents. The system monitors the awareness of the Officer of the Watch(OOW) and automatically alerts the captain or another qualified OOW if for any reason the OOW becomes incapable of performing the OOW1s duties. This purpose is achieved by a series of indications and alarms to alert the OOW and, if he is not responding, then to alert the Captain or another qualified OOW. Additionally, the BNWAS may provide the OOW with a means of calling for immediate assistance if required. The BNWAS should be operational whenever the ship's heading or track control system is engaged, unless inhibited by the captain.
