The JUE-95SA is a small, lightweight and highly reliable terminal, recognized for its unique role in maritime safety and plays an integral part in the safety of live at sea. RC has developed a compact, mobile satellite communication system. The JUE-95SA Inmarsat C SSAS utilizes two-way data/messaging communications anywhere in the world. New IMO requirements state two security alarm buttons must be provided. These are located discreetly on the vessel and can be activated in case of piracy or terrorist attack. It will allow covert activation, which transmits an alert signal from vessel to shore, alerting the appropriate authority that the security of the vessel is under threat or has been compromised. The SSAS system will not raise the alert onboard the vessel, nor alert any other ships. If vessels have older Inmarsat C systems onboard, you can simply install JRC’s JUE-95SA in order to comply with current SOLAS regulations.

Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) is an IMO required global monitoring system of the ship’s movements. The purpose of LRIT is to increase maritime domain awareness and to improve maritime security. The JUE-95LT system has the same cable management philosophy resembling all other Inmarsat products that JRC is offering, allowing for an easy installation as only a single coax cable is used between antenna and terminal. Both are very compact and can be easily installed on any size and type of vessel. Ships sailing under the flag of a country that signed up to the International Maritime Organization Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) convention must comply with new LRIT requirements from 2009 onwards.

O novo serviço ultra rápido GX foi projetado para oferecer confiabilidade e velocidade. O serviço híbrido Fleet Xpress da Inmarsat (Global Xpress JUE-60GX de banda Ka, apoiado pela resiliência da banda L, família FleetBroadband JUE-251 ou JUE-501 e um dispositivo de serviço de rede) elevará sua eficiência operacional para o próximo nível, fornecendo confiabilidade inigualável, até com forte precipitação e bloqueio da antena. O design de um radome leve mas ultra forte para o ambiente da banda Ka tem sido um desafio particular. Os engenheiros da JRC usaram um plástico reforçado com fibra (FRP) em sanduíche de 3 camadas com uma estrutura especial de resina-favo de mel para o núcleo de apenas alguns milímetros. A estrutura em favo de mel confere ao radome, alta resistência e é extremamente leve. O módulo principal da solução JRC JUE-60GX Global Xpress (fabricado pela iDirect) é colocado no terminal, instalado abaixo do convés.
