Fire Detection Systems are installed on vessels for monitoring the engine room, engine control room and accommodation areas for outbreak of fire. The system consists of a control panel and smoke, heat and/or flame detectors and manual fire alarm boxes. Choice of optimum detector types is made depending upon the area to be monitored.

The Fire detection alarm panel whcih upon receipt of a signal is being transmitted. Nohmi fire detectors and manual fire alarm boxes are equipped with individual response indicators (LED). By adoption of the two-wire system, it is possible to use different types of fire detectors and manual fire alarm boxes together in a common loop. The ionization and optical smoke detectors are equipped with a sensivity adjusting switch, and the system with excellent cost performance is realized.
